Protesters who use lasers, fireworks or block roads during
demonstrations could face increased criminal charges according to two
bills sent to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott Sunday and Monday.
Texas House Bill 9 would increase the criminal penalty for individuals
who obstruct roadways while House Bill 2366 could increase criminal
penalties for individuals who interfere with law enforcement actions
or endanger officials. House Bill 2366 would make the use of laser
pointers against police a third-degree felony or first-degree felony
if the actions resulted in “serious bodily injury, according to
the Austin American-Statesman.

Good.
So much for the "fewer regulations!" wing of the GOP......
Imature leftists want to throw tantrums. Democrats Congressfools want
to let them.
It's just one of Hollowman's worn-out tropes. Whenever Republicans
support legislation he doesn't like, he falls back on this silliness.
In this case, he doesn't want democrat client looters hamstrung by the
law.
Until those rioters get in the way og what the Democrats want. Rioting
is okay when it disrupts the lives of the people, especially if those
people are conservatives, but when it gets in the way of what they want
(6 Jan. riot), they get upset and demand that it be stopped.

Really?

Despite an nonentity creating a national secret police to his own
secret laws, disturbances in the past year have been in variety
of jurisdictions which, in the spirit of the Tenth Amendment have
been handled as those jurisdictions see fit.

6 Jan was under the jurisdiction of the Congress with democrat
majority in one chamber and a republican majority in the other.
Are you saying the senate complete acquiesed to the house? Or are
you just your usual lying, weaselly shit?
